Terms of Service

1. Description of the Service

Bible Talk is a mobile application designed to help users deepen their faith through AI-guided conversation with the Bible. The Service may include features such as AI Bible chat, personalized daily devotionals, a verse finder, Bible reading, prayer support, account-based syncing, and premium subscription features.

We may modify, add, or remove features from the Service at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, contact us at hello@bibletalkapp.com.

4. Subscriptions and Paid Features

Bible Talk may offer paid features, including auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to premium features, content, or functionality within the Service.

Subscription options, including the subscription name, duration, price, and any free trial or introductory offer, will be displayed before purchase in the app or through the applicable app store.

• • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• • Your subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• • Your account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase.
• • Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund requests for subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple according to Apple's terms and policies.

If you purchase a subscription through another platform or payment provider, your purchase may be governed by that platform's or provider's payment, cancellation, and refund terms.

5. Free Trials and Promotional Offers

We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, or promotional access from time to time. The specific terms of the offer will be shown at the time of signup or purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, when a free trial ends, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the end of the trial period.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the platform where you purchased it.

For subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store, cancellations and refund requests must be handled through Apple. We do not control Apple's billing systems and cannot directly cancel, refund, or modify App Store subscriptions on your behalf.

Canceling a subscription prevents future renewal charges but does not necessarily result in a refund for the current billing period, unless required by applicable law or the policies of the platform where you purchased the subscription.

7. Bible Content and Third-Party Content

The Service may display Bible verses, scripture references, devotional content, or other content from third-party sources. Bible translations and related content may be subject to copyright, licensing terms, attribution requirements, or usage restrictions from their respective owners.

You agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit Bible translation text or other third-party content from the Service except as permitted by applicable law or the applicable content owner's terms.

We may change, remove, or limit access to specific Bible translations or content if required by licensing terms, copyright rules, or operational needs.

8. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate conversational responses, devotionals, prayers, and other spiritual content. AI-generated content is provided for reflection, study, and encouragement.

AI-generated content may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or reflective of interpretive perspectives. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or your own reading of Scripture. Always compare AI-generated responses with the Bible text itself and with trusted spiritual guidance.

9. User Content

The Service may allow you to enter, save, upload, or share content, such as prayers, notes, reflections, saved verses, profile information, or other materials (“User Content”).

You retain ownership of your User Content. By using the Service, you grant Within Media Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, process, display, and use your User Content solely as needed to operate, provide, maintain, improve, and support the Service.

You are responsible for your User Content and agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:

• • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
• • Interfere with or disrupt the operation, security, or performance of the Service.
• • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where permitted by law.
• • Use automated scraping, bots, or similar tools to access the Service without our permission.
• • Upload malware, harmful code, or content that violates the rights of others.
• • Use the Service to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, software, branding, features, interface, graphics, and other materials, is owned by Within Media Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, we do not grant you any ownership or license rights in the Service or our intellectual property.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share information.

13. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the Service from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that:

• • Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content.
• • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service.
• • Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the Service, including product liability claims, legal or regulatory claims, or intellectual property claims.
• • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.

Your use of the Service may also be subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and other applicable Apple terms.

14. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Within Media Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at all times. We do not guarantee that AI conversations, devotionals, verse tools, or other features will meet your expectations or produce any particular spiritual, educational, or personal outcome.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Within Media Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 CAD, whichever is greater.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Within Media Inc. and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, and licensors from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

17. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service.

Termination does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription. If you purchased a subscription through the Apple App Store, you must cancel it through your Apple account settings.

18. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice, such as through the Service or by email.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
